Representatives of our association in İzmir visited 3 different camps in Torbalı. It distributed 173 hygiene kits and 43 diapers in total, helping families living there.
We visited our refugee children living in Torbalı, İzmir. We watched cartoons with them and did a face painting activity. We had treats such as cakes, chocolates, fruit juices and had a very enjoyable time with them.
We surprised beautiful Azra with Down syndrome, whom our friends in the Izmir region had visited before and helped with clothes, and we gave her the wooden kitchen she wanted so much.
Recently, we were guests at the house of Ayşe Parmaksız, who lives in Gaziantep with her husband and six children. Hatice and İsmail Efe, 29 and 9 years old with Spina Bifida, welcomed us with their smiling faces. We delivered the BİM CARD, which was the request of Ms. Parmaksız. Then we ended our visit by listening to little İsmail Efe’s requests for the doctor’s appointment and special shoes he needed.
Our
friends working in the Izmir region reached the refugee child who had a problem
with his foot, had him made special orthopedic shoes and delivered them.
We visited Gaziantep GAP Visually Impaired
Primary/Secondary School Manager Mehmet Yıldız in his office and had a pleasant
conversation. Mehmet Yıldız, who is the only visually impaired principal among
16 schools operating in this field in Turkey, sets an example for everyone,
including his own students. We gave information about our association to Mr. Yıldız,
talked about our activities and projects, met for the common benefit and talked
about the shortcomings and what we could do together.
Our
colleagues in the Izmir region reached the husband and wife physically
handicapped refugee family and delivered the batteries of their wheelchairs.
The family, who could not go out for months because their batteries are dead,
will be able to go out to meet their needs and socialize thanks to your support.
We
continue to deliver food, hygiene and baby kit aids in line with the needs of
our families identified in the Van region and guided by other institutions in
the region.
